Varizapper Modules

MODULES & BATTERY INSTALLATION

Varizapper has a unique Modular system, which allows the insertion or removal of the 2 available module systems into the Vari-Base. It is possible to purchase the Varizapper device and later upgrade with the Varigamma module or vice-versa. It is also possible to exchange memory card programs from a Varigamma device into a Varizapper Device.

The Vari-Modules are:

Changing Modules

Changing Modules is a simple and easy procedure.
Never Change Modules while battery is inserted.
Always remove battery first
Press firmly down on the Blue button on the back of the device (see above, Varizapper back)
The Module will now move down leaving the Vari-Base module exposed:

Now insert the new module.
Insert the battery and the cover and press the on button.

Warning:
Reports of Blue Safety Button falling off during this procedure:
The ‘Blue’ Eject button is known to fall out during this module exchange. Be gentle or the spring loaded button may fly across the room, and never be seen again. The spring itself would be impossible to find in ‘shagg carpet’ so please do this procedure gently, as the button is an important accessory which keeps the device properly connected.

BATTERY REMOVAL & INSTALLATION:

REMOVING BATTERY

Insert a DIME at the top of the battery (The Gold Part of the DURACELL above)
Flip the battery up and release it from its connectors.
Try not to short the battery with the coin, or use a plastic spoon instead.

INSERTING BATTERY

Do not insert battery in REVERSE. Please keep the “FAT” connector (-) on the Right side of the Device as pictured. You will not damage the Device if you do reverse the battery, however it will not switch on, and a prolonged “short” across a DIODE can cause battery damage or leakage.
